Hello!
I am a current master’s candidate in clinical mental health counseling at Alvernia University completing my internship at Advanced Counseling.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh studying psychology and neuroscience, and I have over 8 years of experience working in inpatient, outpatient, counseling, and clinical research with clients with mood disorders like anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorders and well as personality disorders and addictions.
When working with clients, I draw upon elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, while also finding inspiration from philosophy and positive, social, emotion-focused, and cognitive psychologies.
My approach to counseling focuses on humility, trust, authenticity, and the intersection between research and practice.
